WHO WE WORK WITH

Four kinds of product.
One way of working.

Each has its own buyers and its own questions. Pick yours to see what we make for it.

WHAT YOUR MODEL CAN DO

More than a beautiful image.

You already have the model. We turn it into answers to the questions buyers ask before they pay. No 3D yet? We build it in Blender from your drawings, photos or the product itself.

01 / SHOW HOW IT WORKS

Every movement.
Every measurement.

Buyers watch the sofa become a bed, the doors open and the table extend, with the dimensions updating as it moves.

Try it above: sofa bed, console, Eland table, camperMechanism · live dimensions · your photos on the model
02 / WILL IT FIT

The space it needs.
In their own room.

Show the floor area it takes now and fully open, then let buyers place it at true size in their room on their phone.

Try it above: Space neededFootprint · clearance · in your room (AR)
03 / ONE MODEL, EVERYWHERE

One file.
Every channel.

Your website, Google Shopping 3D and AR, Shopify product media and your retailers, all from the same checked file. You own it, and we take nothing from your sales.

04 / MADE TO MEASURE · IN PILOT

Their size.
Your price.

Customers choose the size and options; you get a price and a parts list from the same model. Working today for surfboards; furniture is in pilot.

The walnut console, Eland table, Bronze Whaler longboard and Thomas Big Dreams are independent reference studies of other makers’ products, created from photographs and published dimensions. The sofa bed, camper trailer, shaper boards and sculptural coffee table are original Tidalform concepts. These are independent studies, not client commissions, manufacturer endorsements or manufacturing specifications.

BUILT FOR THE NEXT STEP

A useful asset.
Not another file
you can’t open.

We agree where the product needs to appear before we start. The output is prepared and checked for that destination.

LOCAL CONNECTION. PRACTICAL DELIVERY.

Talk to the person
doing the work.

Tidalform is a new, independent studio being developed on the Sunshine Coast by Martin. He spent three years in interior design, working daily in Archicad and CAD Decor, so he knows how designers choose and place products in a project. Before and alongside that: software delivery, system design and business workflows.

The approach is straightforward: understand your product, agree a useful output and work through the details with you. We’re starting with a small number of first product projects.

We come to your workshop, factory or yard anywhere from Noosa to the Gold Coast, to measure, photograph and check the product in person.

LET’S FIND A GOOD FIRST PRODUCT

What do you make?

Tell us about one product and where you’d like customers to see it. We’ll use that to shape a clear first project.

Prepare your brief, then email it to Contact. Nothing is uploaded.

A few practical questions.

Can you build a model from photographs?

Sometimes. It depends on the product, the available angles and the accuracy required. We assess the source material first; we won’t assume hidden details from a few pictures.

Can you use our existing CAD files?

Yes, that is where we start. We take GLB, FBX, OBJ and STEP, and exports from SketchUp, Rhino and most CAD tools, and prepare them in Blender for the web: lighter files, real materials, and the moving parts set up.

Who owns the files?

You do. The model, the page files and the renders are yours to use anywhere. The studies of other makers’ products on this page are demonstrations only.

Do you take a cut of our sales?

No. A flat fee per product and optional hosting; nothing per sale.

Does “in your room” work on iPhone and Android?

On both, the product appears at true size on the floor, with an outline of the most space it needs (the sofa as a bed, the console with its doors open), so you can see at once whether it fits. On Android it can also show its movement.

Do we need to change our website?

Renders and animations can be used as regular media. Interactive 3D needs a compatible viewer; we agree that integration with you or your web agency.

How much does a first product cost?

The founding maker pilot is $59 (AUD) for one product, for the first five makers, and it is credited to the full package. The full package with the working mechanism starts at $600 (AUD); the first five makers who start by 30 November 2026 pay $299 (AUD). It is paid once for each product design, not per item sold. We confirm the scope and price before any work starts.
